“God will make everything new, including us. He will transform our bodies, the ones we are pulling, tucking, and starving in an effort to make them beautiful. They will be beautiful, pure, and glorious when He returns — unimaginably beautiful. We will never die again. Our beauty will never fade. Most importantly, we will be without sin.

Our fallen and imperfect bodies are yet another way we can look to Christ. Each ache and pain and droopy muscle is another reminder that we have a Savior who is perfect in beauty, and He is coming to get us — to raise us to a more glorious than we can imagine. In the meantime, by His grace, we can take our eyes off ourselves and fix them squarely on Jesus.”

"What a day that will be
When my Jesus I shall see
And I look upon his face
The one who saved me by his grace
When he takes me by the hand
And leads me through the Promised Land
What a day, glorious day that will be"
