Sometimes there are things -- subjective things -- that we just have to do to reclaim our lives...our energy, emotional strength, allegiance, and attention...and refocus on what that still small voice of a faithful and loving God has been telling us for a while. Sometimes He asks us to do things that do not make sense according to how things work in this world. He asks us to trust Him.

The objective truth is that Jesus is Lord and I must do everything I can to free myself of the things that are distracting me from loving Him and others with all my heart. Thus, I feel the sweetest peace about leaving social media and only blogging here. Take a few minutes to watch the video to hear how the Lord is giving me my life and time back.

Don't skip it...there's also an amazing new food favorite that I show you while I am talking. Also, check out the nutrient benefits of these foods below!

"Continue to work out your salvation [that is, cultivate it, bring it to full effect, actively pursue spiritual maturity] with awe-inspired fear and trembling [using serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name of Christ]. For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure. Do everything without murmuring or questioning [the providence of God], so that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish in the midst of a [morally] crooked and [spiritually] perverted generation, among whom you are seen as bright lights [beacons shining out clearly] in the world [of darkness], holding out and offering to everyone the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to rejoice greatly because I did not run [my race] in vain nor labor without result." Philippians 2:12-16 AMP

Amen! I found a way to keep my pictures and continue to use my camera but not have to use IG or FB to store each memory. I still might post once every few weeks to keep my “digital scrapbook” but it will no longer be a daily thing. I love seeing the Lord work!
