God calls us to be set apart -- to be women of a different sort -- and it all starts with prayer.
Join me as we do seven challenging minutes of seated arm exercises and talk about timeless ways that you can add structure and strategy to your prayer life.
George Mueller’s Process of Prayer
George Müller was a German-born Christian evangelist and philanthropist known for his work with orphans in Bristol, England. He established and managed the Ashley Down orphanage, caring for over 10,000 orphans during his lifetime. Müller's life is often highlighted as an example of faith and reliance on God's provision, as he refused to solicit donations and depended solely on prayer for financial support. Make note of how he went about submitting his heart in prayer:
I seek, at the beginning, to get my heart into such a state that it has no will of its own regarding a given matter. Nine-tenths of the trouble with people generally is just here. Nine-tenths of the difficulties are overcome when our hearts are ready to do the Lord's will, whatever it may be. When one is truly in this state, it is usually but a little way to the knowledge of His will.
Having done this, I do not leave the result to feeling or a simple impression. If so, I make myself liable to great delusions.
I seek the will of the Spirit of God through, or in connection with, the Word of God. The Spirit and the Word must be combined. If I look to the Spirit alone without the Word, I lay myself open to delusions. If the Holy Ghost guides us at all, He will do it according to the Scriptures and never contrary to them.
Next, I take into account providential circumstances. These often plainly indicate God's Will in connection with His Word and Spirit.
I ask God in prayer to reveal His will to me aright.
Thus, through prayer to God, the study of the Word, and reflection, I come to a deliberate judgment according to the best of my ability and knowledge, and if my mind is thus at peace, and continues so after two or three more petitions, I proceed accordingly.

Now, take time to write down the prayers that you can break down into 30 minute segments on Monday-Friday. For instance, each Monday, pray for your home and family, both immediate and extended. On Tuesday, pray for my Church and the unsaved people the Lord has drawn to your attention. Set aside Wednesdays for a time of worship and reflection, simply praising God for who He is, and making yourself available for the Holy Spirit to move in your heart according to His character and will, so that you may be a witness wherever He leads you.
On Thursdays, return to guided prayer with global or local missions and ministries that the Holy Spirit has led you to participate in or pray for. Then on Fridays, pray for the biblical mentorship, discipleship, and evangelism ministries that God has entrusted to you.
Make sure and set aside a specific time each day for this. Add it to your calendar and set reminders on your phone. Place a higher level of urgency and esteem on this meeting than on any other.

Timely and wonderful quotes from Mueller! I'd read that years ago and DEFINITELY needed the reminder today... especially number 1!! <3<3
